Once you have an acceptance letter, you need to meet the requirements of IRCC for a successful student visa application. These requirements are under 2 broad categories: Eligibility & Admissibility. Studying in French
There are many ways to study in French across Canada.

Designated learning institutions
Provinces and territories designate institutions that can enroll international students to study in Canada. These schools are known as designated learning institutions (DLI). Work permissions on a Canada Study Visa
Many students intend to work part-time while they study in Canada at a University or College. The connections they make as students often lead to a successful career and future referrals. As an International student in Canada, you may be allowed to work
- 20 hours a week during semesters.
- 40 hours a week during scheduled breaks.
Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP)

Upon successful completion of a post-secondary program at a DLI, an International student in Canada is eligible to apply for a PGWP. It is an open work permit that allows you to work for any Canadian employer and gain valuable Canadian experience.
